The property is surrounded by 3,888 m²   terraced grounds planted with cultivated olive trees. The house was newly built in 2001 to replace an old natural stone farmhouse and combines the traditional Ligurian building style with contemporary standard of living. Also on this floor level is one of the two bedrooms, which could also serve as guest room or study. A family bathroom located on this floor level, ensures added privacy should guests come to stay.

An open staircase leads from the entrance hall to the upper floor with the second bedroom under a revealed roof construction. The room benefits from a warm and cosy ambience, and a modern shower room provides additional comfort.

Right outside this bedroom is a 22 m² panoramic terrace – a true eye catcher. From here, stunning views over the mountains all the way to the sea can be enjoyed. The terrace is a fantastic space where to enjoy the peace and quiet, the light and the beautiful Ligurian landscape in total privacy.

There is ample parking for several cars available on the grounds and the access road is a typical Ligurian country lane with only the final 50 m left as dirt track but easily manageable for any average car.

A garden shed offers convenient storage room for garden furniture and tools and an outdoor shower invites for a refreshing splash on hot summer days. Two cisterns provide fresh water: One rainwater cistern with a capacity of 9,000 litre and a freshwater cistern with 4,000 l capacity, The technical equipment is functional and well looked after. The boiler was replaced in 2022 and is connected to a gas tank located on the grounds. High quality aluminium windows with integrated insect protection and classic shutters add to the overall comfort. A satellite TV socket is also in place.

The location above Dolceacqua offers peace and quiet, open nature and Mediterranean quality of life. The medieval village with its historic centre, small shops, restaurants, weekly markets and cultural events is known to be one of the prettiest villages in Liguria. It offers an excellent infra structure accessible throughout the year.

The sea and coastal resorts on the Riviera are just a 30-minute drive away from the house and the Côte d’Azur with the international airport Nice can be reached within the hour. The waterfalls and places to swim in Rocchetta Nervina are yet another attraction not far from the house.
